An unexpected bonus of a night out, learning salsa or partying, is that during the cold snap, you aren't at home, so don't need the heat up high.  You are sure to get hot whilst dancing and if you are clever, you'll retain that heat as well as your dance buzz till the following morning.
I'm no economic expert but I reckon you should dance every night of the week and then you'll have no heating costs at all?

Friday night's choice includes a live band night at the new venue in Kingston, starting with lessons in salsa or bachata.

The party night in Putney also starts with bachata and salsa lessons whilst the late, late party in Balham has a dediicated kizomba room.

Daytime workshops over the weekend are a popular way to learn, consolidate and improve your skills. Saturday's beginners version in Soho has a £5 discount and you can get a repeat for free.

Pexava host a Saturday Salsa Social at Coway Hall in Holborn just once on a while. Always special because there is a great dance floor, excellent guest DJs, an intermediate/advanced lesson included in the price and the orange wedges at around 2am.

Salsatricity in Whetstone take on a Valentines theme for their salsa, kizomba, bachata multiroom party. 

DJ Hughie invites those near Ilford to a Sunday afternoon (2-6pm) of salsa.

For Monday, we wish a happy 7th birthday to Salsa Cocktail in Palmers Green, where they celebrate with a salsa and bachata Valentines party.

On Tuesday, Todo Latino takes over Bar Salsa Temple, with salsa at all levels, including a free intro to dance at 7pm.

Bromley Salsa is Kent's largest & longest running salsa venue, teaching from absolute beginners to advanced, now on Tuesdays.

Your Wednesday options are far and wide. I start with Metrolatina at Bar Salsa in Charing Cross, where there is a free intro to salsa session before classes for all levels.

In Hammersmith a first time absolute beginners lesson is on offer, along with lessons for all levels and a social.

Salsa Party Time offer a warm welcome for their 2 levels of salsa and 2 levels of bachata class in Tooting each Thursday.
