An incredible array of salsa workshops and parties are on offer this weekend in London.

There is a Free Funky Friday at the Theatre Royal in Stratford, hosted by DJ Hughie.  4 hours of classic soul, Neo Soul, Funk, Jazz-funk and Latin music.

The late night oprion is in Balham, where Miguel brings the monthly Que Rico party to life with 2 rooms of salsa and kizomba till 2am.

The central London late night option for dancers is Pexava in Holborn where there is a perfect dance floor, a host of experienced dancers, top DJs, a show, a lesson and the customary orange wedges to send you home refreshed.

On the late night tube, up in Totteridge, Salsatricity offer lessons each Saturday in salsa, bachata and kizomba, with the party till 1am,

Barnet SalsaSunday's 5-hour workshop at Bar Salsa in Soho is for intermediate plus levels and includes Freezes, Dips 'n drops (doing them safely), Six beat moves (multiple spins and footwork), Transition steps plus some body language tips.  Remember to quote London Salsa for £5 off the course cost

Live salsa music is played on Sunday night in Richmond, where the mention of LondonSalsa on the door will get you £2 off. A fun night is pretty much assured.

The sands of time are always moving, so a look into the future sees an El Grande in Kings Cross next week and I see the opportuniity to join Salsa Tropical for a salsa dinner dance in Islington on 28th April.

Wishing you a happy week of dance,

Leigh and the London Salsa team
