Lambada Zouk, Lambada, Lambazouk, Zouk Lambada or simply zouk, is spreading radidly worldwide.  We believe that this is indeed an exciting time for the dance, as each region adopts this dance as a mode of expression we will start to see an explosion of creativity as each area adds their own take on the dance. Living in London, I've always believed that there is a lot of amazing talent around and we need to not only tap into that resource but believe that what we have to contribute is worthwhile.  Lyrical Zouk came out of a particular set of circumstances that I've experienced after dancing this dance for over fifteen years. We respect the origins of the dance, but believe that we should not be afraid to look at ways to add and improve what we do. Lyrical Zouk is not only a style of dance, but also a way of teaching. 2010 promises to be a very exciting time where we are looking forward to continuing to promote and refine this style.
