Joseph Koniak is one of the leading authorities on Salsa and Zouk-Lambada in the UK today. Having trained in all aspects of dance at the London Contemporary
School of Dance, Joseph has a wide base of experience and influences, and this is evident in the unique style that he brings to both Salsa and Zouk-Lambada.
Joseph started dancing at a young age and since becoming a professional
dancer has performed and choreographed all over the world. He has been
involved in many different projects, ranging from musical theatre to solo
dance productions, television and film. His expertise has been used regularly in the hit TV series Srictly Come Dancing and he was also the official audition judge, coach and choreographer for the Original hit series Strictly Dance Fever
A winner of the Open World Lambada Championships ,he then also became the first officially recognised winner of the UK World Salsa Championships winning the title 3 times .
Qualified with the UK Alliance, Joseph is now a highly respected teacher of both Salsa and Zouk-Lambada and he is known for his inspiring teaching techniques, generating enthusiasm and self-belief in his students.
