Michelle is London born of Caribbean origin. She studied ballet and tap dancing and has been performing form an early age. Michelle started teaching with Tropicana dance school, which is ran by Ramiro Zapata back in the 90's, where she stayed for around five years. She then moved on to teach with various other teachers such as Joseph Koniak and Nelson Batista to name but a few before branching out to start Salsabana where she still is now. Michelle has appeared on TV show's such as CD UK, TOP OF THE POPS, VANESSA SHOW, NICKELODEON, BBC2 OPEN UNIVERSITY (ENGLISH IS NOT ENOUGH), CHANNEL FOUR'S (GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN) She has also danced with Lady Salsa show dancers and performed along side top Cuban band Sierra Maestra at the Sky TV awards. Michelle is passionate about her dancing and it shows if you've ever seen her perform. She has a Cuban street style with a jazzy twist. The style that she teaches is predominantly Cuban, but is combined with Puerto Rican and even some street which makes her style unique and it show's if you have ever seen her perform.
