The rueda class was a nightmare. the noise coming from the adjacent room was overpowering and you were not able to listen to the instructor at all. full of snobby people and pouting ladies that are not there for fun but just to show them self off.

I went to Latino Sway/Sound for about 9 months and in retrospect wasted a lot of money considering the other good classes that are out there! There's no doubt it's a great venue/club night and you get to watch some amazing salsa dancing in there.....

However, the place is not very conducive to people who want to learn on a regular basis and then practice in the club later. The routines are generally too complicated, they are rushed and not explained with full breakdown. The club gets taken over by the experts later and the beginners all pretty much leave since they don't have confidence in what they've just learnt. I've seen this happen week after week both for guys and girls.

In summary:

* A great club night if you are an expert salsa dancer.
* A complete waste of money if you want to learn on a regular basis. There's much better options out there people.
