London Salsa Webmaster required
If you love salsa and would like to be part of the new team at London Salsa and think you have the skill required to run a thriving web site, we are looking for you! London Salsa has been the hub of all things Salsa in London for many years--Over the next few months we are growing and redeveloping and now seek to get even better. This is your opportunity to secure a position at the forefront of a thriving and vibrant business. The right person for the job needs few technical skills but will be able to use a CMS. You will need to have a passion for salsa or the desire to become involved in a social community that revolves around one of the fastest growing social and leisure activities. You will either have or want to learn the skills required to communicate with over 10 000 visitors a month as well as over 200 suppliers of information. You will need a gregarious demeanor and prove your desire to make the site grow to become "all things Salsa in London". As our aim is to provide a totally independent site based on all things salsa in London, your knowledge about the scene does not have to be universal, as we will take on someone with the ability to interact with not only salseros but also with dance teachers, venue operators, band leaders and salsa promotors. You will be a self starter, able to communicate ably with article writers and initiate new business as well as have copywriting skills. You do not have to have previous web master experience, merely have the ability to learn them. You will need access to the internet and to be free to meet on the first Wednesday of each month with the full management team.
